Venetia is one of the few traditional boats that is entirely made of oak, which was built in a shipyard.
Since 1994, the E.U. has enacted a law on the destruction of fishing boats to combat overfishing, which makes finding wooden boat builders very difficult and finding wooden tourist boats even more difficult.

CRUISE TIME
Venice is the only boat that goes around Paxos. Get to know the island from end to end!
The cruise starts from the picturesque port of Gaios. We pass by the traditional settlement of Loggo and then to the settlement of Lakka. Then we stop at the blue caves located on the western side of Paxos for an hour and a half. On our way we come across the rock island of Ortholitho. We board on the boat again and tour all the coastal parts of Paxos. We approach the impressive Trypitos or Kamara arch, and then we reach Antipaxos, Voutumi beach, where we stay for an hour and a half to swim.
